About Us
About Our Leadership
Todd Marklin, founder of Revolution Railroad Consulting, most recently served as Vice President of Engineering for Pioneer Lines starting in March 2020. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing Pioneer’s infrastructure, managing the maintenance and upgrades of tracks, bridges, grade crossings, and active warning systems, while also supervising the design and construction of new projects.
With over 25 years of experience in the rail industry, Todd began his career with CSX, a Class I railroad, holding various engineering and managerial roles across the southern regions. His career later included positions with OmniTRAX, Palmetto Railways, and as an Engineering Project Manager for Watco Companies.
Todd’s expertise extends to the federal level, having spent five years with the Federal Railroad Administration, where he led special inspections and derailment investigations. His efforts significantly reduced track-related derailments and accidents nationwide.
Holding both PMP and Railroad Project Management certifications, Todd remains actively involved in key industry associations, including ASLRRA and AREMA, and continues to drive innovation and excellence in rail consulting.
